双宾语的语序一般是:v.+oi+od(动词+间接宾语+直接宾语)。

They offered Peter the job.→They offered the job to Peter.
Will you please call me a taxi?→Will you please call a taxi for me?

allow, assign, award, bring, cause, deliver, deny, do, feed, give, grant, hand, leave, lend, make, offer, owe, pass, pay, promise, read, recommend, render, rent, sell, send, serve, show, sing, tell, take, teach, throw, wish, write等。

bake, boil, book, build, buy, cash, change, choose, cook, cut, do , draw, find,  gather, get, grow, knit, leave, make, mix, order, paint, peel, play, post, pour, reserve, save, spare, weave等。

May I ask you a favor?→May ask a favor of you?
Will you play me a game of chess?→Will you play me at chess?/Will you play a game of chess with me?

The mother bought it for the girl. The mother bought the girl it.

I explained the mistake to Jason. I explain Jason the mistake.

He explained the matter to Ann.
He explained to Ann for his late return.
