1、在句中的位置不同。yet和still都是时间副词时，yet应放在句末，still必须放在动词to be之后，但应放在其他动词之前。

He hasn’t finished his homework yet.
She is still at work.
Tom still goes on talking.

2、表示的意义不同。yet含义为到说话的时候为止，主要用于否定句或疑问句。still强调动作在继续，主要用于肯定句。

He left home at six and hasn’t returned yet.
The shop isn’t open yet. We’ll come back at nine.
Aren’t you ready yet?
He is still in bed.
如果still用于否定句，则强调否定行为的连续性，这时可用yet来替换。

He still doesn’t understand.（表示“不懂”这一否定行为在继续）
